Introduction
Philosophy serves as excellent preparation for pursuing advanced degrees in law, theology, business, and the humanities!
Why Philosophy?
Philosophy helps people think clearly about important questions – from abstract questions about the nature of reality to concrete questions about right actions and how to lead a good life.
Students learn to read difficult texts and write clear arguments. This is excellent preparation for any career that demands logical, critical and creative thinking.
A minor in Philosophy helps students put these skills to good use in a variety of professional fields, such as Law, Education, Medicine, Politics, Entrepreneurship and Social Work.
